Margaret Curtis (b. 1965, Bermuda) is an acclaimed feminist artist whose dynamic, multi-layered work addresses narrative, cultural imagery, and power dynamics at both personal and societal scales. She gained early recognition in the groundbreaking Bad Girls exhibition at the New Museum, New York, and has since exhibited widely, including solo shows at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, The Florence Museum of Art, and Tracey Morgan Gallery. A recipient of the Joan Mitchell Foundation Fellowship, Curtis’s work has been featured in Artforum, The New York Times, Art in America, and other national publications. She lives and works between North Carolina and New Mexico.
